Kumho, who, with tyres sales of $965 million in 1998, is the largest of
the Korean tyre manufacturers. The company is in the 10th place worldwide,
putting it almost on a par with Toyo and Cooper. Kumho has continued to
grow rapidly in recent years, peaking recently at sales of $1.2 billion.
Kumho`s medium term goal is to become one of the worlds top five manufacturers.
